Hi everyone,

Here is the updated list of project assignments for the Summer Research Showcase on Thursday, August 17th. Make sure you submit your abstracts here https://forms.gle/RW7ETkP4BpL3CnHi8 by Friday, July 14th.

  1.   Molecular Standards Project: Reece and Mariana
  2.   Klara Briknarova's Fibronectin Project: Sophia and Reece
  3.   Synthetic Polymer Project: Sophia and Aysha
  4.   GMP Program and Development Project: Rebecca
  5.   AAV CsCl Project: Amy

I have also attached some recent posters that can be used as templates in LibreOffice Impress (if they are opened in PowerPoint they will not display properly). Each of the six slides are printed on separate 12" x 18" poster board, which produces a 3' x 3' poster that costs roughly one-tenth the price of traditional poster board printing. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hey guys,
please see the announcement below for the summer research celebration. We should all participate in this event. We can use some of the research projects we have worked on this summer for presentation, so we can have multiple people present, even as teams:

1. the synthetic polymer project (Sophia, and include earlier work with the density matching)
2. the AAV CsCl project (Rebecca with Amy's help?)
3. the molecular standards project (Reece and Mariana?)
4. Fibronectin (wildtype/mutant) project (who could present this besides Sophia?)

I have a poster template everyone can use that we can have printed out by printing services.

Hello everyone,

The Summer Research Celebration presents an exciting opportunity for Summer Research Studentship (SRS) students, USRA, Chinook and AI candidates, HYRS students and all other student researchers to present their projects and share their findings.



This event aims to celebrate the research conducted by exceptional undergraduate students and create a platform for meaningful engagement and exchange of ideas and insights. This night is open to the University community, family, and friends.



Showcase Logistics:

  *   When: August 17, 2023
  *   Time: 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM
  *   Where: Science Commons Atrium

     *   You will be provided with a designated space to present.
     *   Please bring your own printed poster.

  *   Light refreshments will be served.
