[Demelerlab] Amersham Typhoon Status Update

Hi everyone,
As you all know, last Friday the hard drive on the PC connected to the Amersham Typhoon stopped working. Unfortunately, we will not be able to recover any of the data that was stored on there. However, I am happy to report that the Typhoon is functioning again. We are currently working to develop a method to store, and regularly backup the data from the PC to a network. That way we can hopefully avoid a similar situation arising in the future. We will provide an update when we have something figured out. In the meantime, I would recommend linking your University OneDrive folder to your account on the PC to back up your gel images externally (let me know if you need help with this). Also, if anyone needs the ImageQuant software downloaded to the PC, please let me know and I will take care of that.
