Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year!



I hope this message finds you well. My name is Scott Tersteeg, and I am
excited to be leading the Young Researcher Organization team for the
upcoming RiboWest conference, which will be hosted at the University of
Lethbridge from June 8 to 11.



The Young Researcher Organization team will be responsible for gathering
student input on several extracurricular activities at the conference,
including the Waterton trip, a student/industry mixer, assisting with
registration on the first day, potentially offering input on an award, and
working alongside the lead organizers to ensure the event runs smoothly.



I would appreciate it if you could encourage one person from each of your
labs to join the team, ensuring fair representation from the professors
participating in the conference. If you could share this opportunity with
your lab and let me know if anyone would be interested, it would be very
helpful. I completely understand that if lab members are busy, it is not
necessary for every lab to have a representative. If everyone could let me
know by January 24, 2025, that would be appreciated.
