[FDS] May 21 Meeting Agenda

Everyone,
We have our first meeting scheduled for next Tuesday (May 21st) at
12:30-2:00 pm Mountain Time, and I wanted to update you on our agenda
(attached).
I also included a copy of an NSERC presentation about the Alliance
Advantage grant which we will be applying for to fund our FDS project.
Finally, I am including a copy of our mutual confidentiality agreement
between all parties involved. Even if you haven't signed it personally,
everyone involved will be bound by its terms because some institutional
representative has signed on your behalf. What this agreement assures us is
that we can all speak freely about any IP protected matters with each
other, but not outside of our group, and everyone's trade secrets will be
protected. In addition, we have permission to record our meeting on Tuesday
so people who cannot attend (Locke?) will be able to review the
discussion later. The recording will be protected by the same
confidentiality agreement and cannot be shared with anyone outside of the
parties who signed this agreement. Please be mindful of this. This
agreement is mutual, meaning everyone involved is under the same
restrictions.

On Tuesday, we will start with a quick round of introductions. As part of
these introductions, I would like for everyone to state their role and
expertise within the group, as well as articulate their expectations of
what they would like to get out of this collaboration. Just a few sentences
are enough. The bulk of our meeting will be centered around a discussion of
the technology we hope to develop.
