[FDS] AUC FDS project status

I am writing to inform you of an important strategic shift in our approach to project execution, prompted by recent changes in our leadership and a renewed internal development focus.

As we strive to leverage our internal capabilities more effectively, we will be transitioning from our current co-development model to a consulting model. This change aligns with our goal of harnessing and deploying our internal expertise more effectively, ensuring tighter control over project execution and outcomes.

This transition will involve engaging external partners (including individuals in this mailing list) primarily for their specialized knowledge and guidance, rather than joint project development. This will allow Beckman to retain greater ownership of project execution while still benefiting from the insights and expertise of seasoned consultants. While this pivot does de-emphasize the NSERC alliance combined approach, it should accelerate the overall sprints between project milestones solely utilizing Beckman's internal funding.

We believe this pivot will streamline our processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance our ability to deliver high-quality results.  However, we also know that every project is different and adjustments to the strategy may be required as the project matures.
