We don't have a specific time (they'll be iterating through many VMs),

Advanced notice of uslims3 outage from our cloud / infrastructure management team:


As part of the process, all Virtual Machines will be moved from our legacy environment to the new infrastructure. The timeframe for VM upgrades is late August to mid September. Even though the impact is minimal, during the upgrade, there will be a short period where your VM will be shutdowwn. We anticipate this will be up to 10 minutes for most VMs, however for those that may require longer we will notify users in advance. Intersect will be working closely with users and will endeavour to keep you updated as best they can during the process. For most VMs the IP and MAC addresses will not change, so you can log in to your new VM in exactly the same way as you previously did.

Intersect will provide 1 weeks notice and a reminder 24 hours prior to the upgrade of your individual VM so you can prepare and notify other users of your VM. If you have specific requirements for the date of the upgrade of your individual VM please reply to this email. For example you would like all your VMs done on the same day, or perhaps in smaller groups across several days. Some early access to the new hardware is also possible.
